Your data, on request
You do not need a reason, and you will not be asked for one.
What you can ask for
- A copy of everything held about you
- A correction to anything that is wrong
- Deletion of your details entirely
- Withdrawal of consent to marketing emails, without affecting anything else
How to ask
Email gauravshewale.hd@gmail.com — that link opens a message with the wording already filled in, so you only need to say which one applies.
Please send it from the same email address you used on the enquiry form. That is how I confirm a request is really yours; if you cannot, I may need to ask something else that only you would know, so that nobody can obtain your data by pretending to be you.
What happens then
I will respond within 30 days, usually much sooner. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Records of the consent itself are kept even after deletion, because the law requires me to be able to show what was agreed and when — those records contain no birth details.
If you do nothing
Enquiry details are deleted automatically 24 months after you send them. No request needed.
If you are not satisfied
You can complain to the Data Protection Board of India, or — if you are in the UK or EU — to your national data protection authority. Details are in the privacy policy.
